The personal data collected in this form (“the data”) will be used by the Law Society for the purpose of providing to you recreational and sports activities and programmes, training, competition enrolments and for any directly related purposes.
The data will be provided to such persons within the Law Society whose proper business it is to have access to and assist in the processing of your subscription for the Recreation and Sports Programme 2025. By submitting the Form, you are taken to have no objection to the provision of the data by the Law Society to such persons who may facilitate the Law Society in carrying out the purposes mentioned above, such as the relevant team captains, convenors, coaches and their assistants for communicating with you and sending you information in relation to any forthcoming programmes.
You have the right to request access to and correction of the data. Any such request should be addressed to the Secretary General, the Law Society of Hong Kong, 3/F, Wing On House, 71 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong. The events/ practices/ classes organised under the Recreation and Sports Programme 2025 may be photographed, videotaped and/or screen captured for the Law Society’s record and/ or and future promotions. By participating in the events/ practices/ classes, participants consent to be photographed, videotaped and/or screen captured, and give permission to the Law Society to use their image(s) for internal records, educational and marketing purposes, and in promotional materials including but not limited to the Law Society’s website, Law Society’s weekly Circulars, Publications and social media platforms e.g. the Law Society mobile App, event-related Facebook and Instagram, etc.. In the case where your minor child(ren) take(s) part in the event, you give permission to the Law Society to use your child/children’s images for the aforesaid purposes.
