Introduction

Themed “Be Just! Be a Good Sport”, the Conference will feature a series of sports-related topics including:

  • visionary pointers on issues such as intellectual property, media rights, broadcasting rights, innovation and youth development;
  • how the legal profession can help unlock the value of sports as an industry;
  • the current and potential development of the e-sports industry and its associated legal issues; and
  • avenues and mechanisms for resolving increasingly complicated sports disputes.

Dedicated discussion sessions and fireside chats will be lined up to deliberate the interface among sports, law and business against the backdrop of “One Country, Two Systems and Three Jurisdictions” – the opportunities and the huge development potentials in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be canvassed.
