The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Following the success of the first webinar jointly organised with the Law Society of England and Wales on 27 July 2021, the Law Society held our second webinar in collaboration with the German Federal Bar on 1 September 2021. Focusing on the latest LawTech development in Hong Kong and Germany, the webinar was well received by over 100 legal practitioners from the two jurisdictions.
Representing the Law Society, President C. M. Chan delivered a welcome remarks at the webinar. In addition, Vice-President Amirali Nasir, Past President Thomas So and Mr Nick Chan, Vice-Chairman of the InnoTech Committee, joined the speaker panel and shared their invaluable experiences in this area of growing importance to the legal industry.
