The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 27 September, Council member and Vice-Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Neville Cheng joined an event in Nansha on behalf of the Law Society. Mr Neville Cheng shared his professional knowledge and experience in the event.
At the event, Mr Neville Cheng shared his views on the requirements for setting up partnership associations in the Mainland, as well as the Law Society’s work in encouraging lawyers and law firms from around the world to practice in Hong Kong.
