The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 26 September, Council member and Vice-Chairlady of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Heidi Chui attended the 33rd Symposium on Exploring Key Issues in the Construction of Rule of Law and Signing Ceremony for Cooperation in Training of Foreign-related Cross-border Legal Talents in the Greater Bay Area held in Qianhai. Immediate Past President C. M. Chan and Council member Vincent Tso also attended the event in personal capacity.
The event provided a chance for the Law Society to explore new business opportunities for the members by actively promoting Hong Kong’s legal services.
