The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 13 June 2024, the Sharing Session on the GBA Legal Professional Examination 2024 (“the Sharing Session”) was held successfully, with an aim to assist candidates in preparing for the fourth GBA Legal Professional Examination from a practical perspective. The event attracted more than 150 registrations and received positive feedback from the participants.
President Roden Tong delivered a welcome speech and encouraged young lawyers to use Hong Kong as a springboard to GBA and proactively leverage their professional expertise in contributing to the region's legal development. In addition, the Deputy Secretary for Justice, Mr Horace Cheung, extended his words of encouragement to the candidates through a pre-recorded video.
Vice-Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC") James Wong, and GCLAC members Stanley Chan and Natalia Cheung shared their study tactics, tips on examination preparation, as well as personal experiences working in the Mainland. The Sharing Session was moderated by Vice-President and Chairlady of the Greater Bay Area Lawyers Sub-Committee, Careen Wong.
The Sharing Session received positive feedbacks from the participants.
