The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

On 31 May 2024, then-Council member and Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) member Careen Wong signed a cooperation agreement with the President of Suzhou Lawyers Association Li Hao Jiang on behalf of the Law Society at the “Suzhou Legal Service Industry High Quality Development Promotion Conference” held in Qianhai, Shenzhen. Meanwhile, Council member and GCLAC Vice-Chairman Neville Cheng was invited to deliver a speech at the event.
