The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The 26th ICCA Congress took place from 5 to 8 May 2024. The Law Society was pleased to support this meaningful event.
Then-President C. M. Chan attended the ICCA Governing Board Dinner on 4 May 2024 and the Opening Ceremony on 5 May 2024.
On 7 May 2024, then-President C. M. Chan joined a Seminar on International Arbitration organised by the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre, the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific.
The event was held under the theme “Looking East: International Arbitration – Confidentiality, Transparency, Sustainable Development” during the 26th ICCA Congress. Past President and Chairman of the Arbitration Committee of the Law Society Huen Wong spoke at the event.
On 7 May 2024, then-President C. M. Chan, then-Vice-President and Chairman of Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Roden Tong, as well as Secretary General Heidi Chu joined the 26th ICCA Congress Gala Dinner held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
On 9 May 2024, then-President C. M. Chan attended an ICCA 2024 Shenzhen Side Event in Qianhai, Shenzhen and delivered a speech on arbitration in Hong Kong.
