The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Vice-President Christopher Yu, together with representatives from the business community and professional associations, attended a meeting on 24 April 2024 with a delegation led by the Vice Chairman of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC Yuan Baocheng, as well as the Standing Committee Member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and the Director of the Economic Committee Mr Liang Weidong.
During the meeting, the attendees exchanged views on enhancing cooperation within the GBA, particularly between Guangdong and Hong Kong.
