The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

From 12 to 13 April 2024, Chairlady of Greater China Young Solicitors Sub Committee Sharon Tam led a delegation of 20 young lawyers of PQE 10 years or below to visit Dongguan. The event was organised by the Dongguan – Hong Kong Bay Area Association and the International Legal Commercial Elites Association. The Law Society was a supporting organisation for the event.
On 12 April, the delegation met with the representatives of Dongguan Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, as well as representatives of Dongguan Lawyers Association. In the afternoon, the delegation visited Dongguan Dongyi Commercial Mediation Centre, to better understand the diversified resolution channels for commercial disputes in the Mainland. The delegation also visited a local law firm to learn more about local legal practices.
On 13 April, the delegation visited Songshan Lake Science City Exhibition Hall, China Spallation Neutron Source, Songshan Lake Intelligent Valley and China Liaobu Agarwood Culture Museum.
