The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Organised by the School of Law at City University of Hong Kong, the Guangdong Province Law Society, and the Faculty of Law at University of Macau, the 8th Law Forum of Hong Kong, Macau and Guangdong (“Forum”) was held on 7 March 2024.
Council Member and Vice-Chairlady of Greater China Legal Affairs Committee Heidi Chui was invited to deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the Forum. She highlighted the advantages of Hong Kong lawyers, particularly after obtaining qualification to practice in the GBA, which enabled them to assist clients in handling legal matters from the perspectives of two different jurisdictions, including the provision of professional arbitration and mediation services.
