The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

The Law Society signed a cooperation agreement with Zhuhai Lawyers Association on 24 January 2024. Following the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement, a meeting was held with Zhuhai’s delegation of 36 representatives, which comprised young lawyers who attended the Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macao Training Camp for Lawyers in December 2023.
Representatives of the Law Society included then President C. M. Chan, then Vice-President and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) Roden Tong, Council Member and GCLAC Vice-Chairman Neville Cheng, as well as GCLAC Vice-Chairman James Wong.
