On 10 January 2024, then Vice-President and Chairman of the Greater China Legal Affairs Committee (“GCLAC”) Roden Tong and Chairlady of the Greater China Young Solicitors Sub-Committee Sharon Tam received a delegation of young lawyers from Guizhou Lawyers Association whose post-qualifications ranged from two to ten years.
At this courtesy meeting, the Law Society introduced how Hong Kong lawyers could play a bridging role in facilitating Mainland enterprises going global and foreign investments with our common law professional expertise, ample experiences in dealing with cross-border legal matters as well as proficiency in both English and Chinese.
Then Vice-President and GCLAC Chairman Roden Tong (sixth from left) exchanged a souvenir with the delegation after the meeting.
